Biometric Authentication is a swift and inherently secure method of confirming your identity using unique physical traits, such as your fingerprint or facial features. However, it's important to note that not all biometric scanners offer the same level of security. Some devices may lack the sophistication to differentiate between a real, living face and a photo or a 3D model, potentially allowing unauthorized access. Moreover, in certain situations, biometrics may be used without the user's consent, raising concerns about privacy, data security, and above all - user safety.

In comparison, a 6-digit PIN code is often harder to crack than using a fingerprint alone for authentication. While biometrics offer convenience and speed, it's essential to carefully consider the specific implementation and potential risks associated with the biometric technology used in various devices and applications.
